About the Company:

Our client is an LA-based family office with investments in the public equities and private equities market.



  • Design and operationalize solutions to enhance and automate recurring accounting activities
  • Modernize portfolio reporting capabilities to enhance “real-time” P&L and position monitoring for the investment team and senior management
  • Ensure the maintenance of GAAP-compliance financial statements across a myriad of entities including expense and income allocation and ownership tracking
  • Review and interpret fund/subscription documents to ensure financial terms are aligned with investment team expectations and are accounted for in accordance with GAAP
  • Prepare and analyze fund and investment company financial statements, notes disclosures, and supporting schedules
  • Partner with tax experts to provide tactical and strategic support around deal closing, reporting, etc.
  • Coordinate the submission of timely and accurate regulatory reporting



  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting
  • 3-5 years of public accounting experience
  • 3-5 years of private accounting experience
  • Certified Public Accountant required
  • Experience with multiple asset classes
  • Working knowledge of fund accounting software packages and service provider landscape
