About the Company:
Our client is a private real estate development and management firm with $10 billion in AUM. The firm develops commercial, residential, and retail spaces throughout the country.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee monthly close process from bank recs to variance analysis
- Prepare quarterly equity waterfalls to ensure accurate partnership allocation and promote calculations
- Review and assist in the preparation of debt covenant calculations
- Prepare investor and lender reports
- Prepare capital call letters for investors and requisition request packages for lenders
- Assist with the year end audit financial statements and coordinate with auditors
- Review documents such as tenant leases, operating and loan agreements, property management agreements and contracts
- Oversee the annual budget process and coordinate with other departments
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 5-7 years of related experience at a real estate firm
- Experience performing monthly accounting closes at the property level
- Experience with preparing financial statements and audits
- Experience supervising and training staff
Salary Range:
$140,000-$160,000
