Corporate Controller

About the Company:
Our client is an alternative asset management firm investing in the private equity, credit, and real estate space, with distressed funds expertise. The Corporate Controller will be responsible for supporting the firm in day-to-day accounting, reporting, and analytic tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of Form 10-Q and Form 10-K
- Preparation and review quarterly balance sheet and P&L fluctuation analysis
- Preparation and review of journal entries for monthly and quarterly close processes
- Assist in the consolidation process including the review of intercompany transactions and eliminations
- Manage GL maintenance including new accounts, departments and legal entities
- Management of Non-GAAP and GAAP closes
- Ensure and maintain proper documentation of SOX control processes
- Manage the preparation of accurate and timely accounting information while maintaining data integrity
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 7-8 years of experience
- US GAAP expertise experience required
- CPA and Big 4 experience preferred
- Exposure to corporate re-organizations, mergers and transactions a plus
Salary Range:
$150,000-$180,000
