Corporate Finance Associate

About the Company:
Our client is a global credit investment manager with over $40 billion in AUM investing across public and private strategies, including a direct lending platform that provides customized financing solutions to middle-market companies across industries.
Responsibilities:
- Own the day-to-day operation and maintenance of fund-level return models across drawdown funds, BDCs, and SMAs
- Perform regular budget-to-actual variance analysis and leverage models to support policies and strategies for maximizing returns
- Support the quarterly and annual business planning process and track revenue margins
- Monitor business unit expenses
- Oversee the coordination of fund-level liquidity, leverage, and capital activity
- Provide guidance to the financing and allocation teams regarding target leverage maintenance, capital call and distribution requirements, and optimal funding strategies
- Help build pro forma models, fee-sensitivity analyses, and financial exhibits for new fund launches and bespoke SMA structures
- Provide senior leadership with ad hoc financial analysis
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or economics required
- 3-6 years of strategic finance experience within private credit and/or an asset manager
- Understanding of accounting and applying it to fund-level economics and business unit profitability
- Experience building, auditing, and maintaining complex financial models across multiple legal entities and capital structures
- Familiarity with private credit or alternative investment fund structures
- Strong Excel skills a plus
Salary Range:
$120,000-$150,000
