About the Company: 

Our client is a global asset management firm with over $26 billion in AUM and invests in multiple asset classes such as long/short equity, global macro investments, and private investments. The Data Operations Engineer will be responsible for enhancing the accuracy, efficiency, and stability of the firm’s risk data platform.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support and improve a variety of risk management systems, valuation engines, aggregation frameworks, and data pipelines
  • Manage user on-boarding and off-boarding, data flow changes, and user inquiries
  • Collaborate closely with developers, risk analysts, and risk managers to solve issues, prevent issues, and improve the risk data platform
  • Develop a quantitative understanding of reference data, market data, model data, risk exposures, and portfolio analytics
  • Configure account and instrument setup to run processes and populate analytics
  • Coordinate with other technology and business teams on production issues and high impact changes

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong experience with SQL Server Database
  • Windows Environment experience and knowledge of Bash and process concept experience
  • Prior development or production support experience

 

Salary Range: 

$150,000-$240,000
