About the Company:

Our client is a multi-strategy financial firm that invests in breakthrough biotechnology companies. This role will support one of the firm’s managing partners.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of all standard aspects of administrative support: correspondence; calendaring; travel; expense reporting; meeting coordination, prep and follow-up; document management
  • Independent intake and appropriate routing of telephone calls, emails, and mail, responding immediately to most inquiries
  • Process a heavy volume of expense reports, schedule changes, incoming documents, and eventually, travel, for multiple members of an active, distributed team
  • Office coordination activities in the New York City headquarters, such as welcoming visitors, supply maintenance, conference room scheduling, and front desk management

 

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative capacity with a private equity firm, venture capital firm, or hedge fund
  • Experience using Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, and OneDrive
  • General familiarity with standard collaboration tools like Zoom, Slack, and Asana
