Finance Analyst

About the Company:
Our client is an investment adviser with over $20 billion in AUM focused on investing in global credit and special situations. The Finance Analyst will work across the firm’s business units to understand, model, analyze, and report on fund and firm growth and profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain internal fund forecasts and firm profitability model based on various key inputs from the front office strategy heads and finance teams
- Evaluate the economic impact of new business lines and products being evaluated by the firm
- Build and maintain various compensation models based on the hiring needs and trends of the business unit
- Analyze current and past trends and conduct market and competitive research to identify areas of opportunity and business differentiators
- Track the progress of the firm’s portfolio’s strategic initiatives to inform decision making for business stake holders and executives
- Develop reporting of KPIs and other metrics for decision making
- Work with business units on cost savings initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3-7 years of FP&A experience
- Proficient in Excel with experience building and operating financial models
- Strong understanding of credit products and markets
Salary Range:
$110,000-$160,000
