About the Company:
Our client is an operationally focused private-equity firm focused on investing in companies in specialty manufacturing, food/beverage manufacturing, healthcare products, environmental services, and chemicals. The Finance Associate will support the fund accounting, portfolio valuations and monitoring, and investor reporting for the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Review and approve the quarterly and annual financial reporting
- Review management fee calculations, fund-level waterfalls, and expense allocations
- Review investor capital allocations and statements, capital calls and distributions, and notices
- Assist with the quarterly valuation process including the review of valuation models and data input and reporting
- Prepare investor and due diligence requests with the fund administrator and IR
- Review deliverables with the firm’s fund administrator
- Prepare portfolio company and fund-level reporting for internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or business
- 4-7 years of relevant experience within the private equity space
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- CPA a plus
Salary Range:
$100,000-$125,000
