About the Company:
Our client is an alternative asset management firm investing in the private equity, credit, and real estate space, with distressed funds expertise. The Finance Associate will support the CFO in activities associated with preparing and maintaining business models for the firm and the real estate debt business.
Responsibilities:
- Own the firm’s corporate model utilized to make capital raising and strategic decisions and to project earnings for senior management and the Board of Directors
- Work with senior management to develop and articulate capital allocation and business strategy
- Optimize cash management with the firm’s CFO and investment team including ownership of projections
- Monitor, track, and analyze performance at the investment, portfolio, and fund level; including fund modeling, track record creation, with a goal of maximizing investment performance at the portfolio and fund levels
- Reconcile models to GAAP results and update as necessary
- Prepare ongoing and ad hoc investor communication materials, including investor questionnaires, fund performance queries, rating agency presentations and reports
- Assist CFO in managing over $3 billion in asset specific financings
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2-5 years of experience in financial services or investment banking
- Extensive quantitative analytical and modeling skills
- Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
Salary Range:
$110,000-$130,000
