About the Company:
Our client is a venture capital firm based in San Francisco looking to hire a Finance Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the quarterly financial close process with Fund Administrator
- Prepare capital call and capital distribution projections for approval; review capital activity and manage the posting with the Fund Administrator
- Assist in the treasury function for fund entities
- Coordinate the annual audited financial statement and provide support to auditors
- Coordinate tax reporting, including K-1 preparation and review; process and file periodic local and state taxes
- Monitor fund expense budgets, allocations, and accruals
- Prepare quarterly reviews and valuations of portfolio companies; prepare various compliance filings
Responsibilities:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- A mix of 4 to 6 years of Big 4 public accounting and industry or related experience working with venture capital or private equity firms
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other computer applications
- Knowledge of waterfalls
- CPA license
- Fund tax experience a plus
Salary Range:
$95,000-$125,000
