Financial Reporting Accountant

About the Company:
Our client is one of the top REITs in the country operating within the healthcare industry. This position will assist in the day-to-day functions of the financial reporting group.
Responsibilities:
- Populate and review Form 10-Qs, earnings releases, and Form 10-Ks
- Populate and review the financial statements sections of the supplemental report within Excel
- Populate and review annual private financial statements within Workiva for statutory and joint venture reporting
- Collaborate with various departments to request for and obtain supporting files for the financial statements
- Tie out financial statements and provide tie-out files to external auditors to facilitate their audits and reviews
- Experience working on public companies’ financial statements tie out
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 2-5 years of previous experience
- Experience with Workiva strongly preferred
- Public company/SEC reporting/real estate/REIT knowledge a plus
Salary Range:
$115,000-$125,000
