About the Company:
Our client is a real estate investment trust with a focus on investing in residential mortgage-backed securities and residential whole loans.
Responsibilities:
- Manage equity accounting, stock compensation, and capital market transactions
- Assist in the completion of internal and external financial reporting, 10-K/10-Q’s, investor presentations, and press releases
- Assist with financial statement disclosure processes and SEC reporting requirements
- Assist with monthly expense accruals, the accounts payable process, G&A budgeting processes, and budget vs. actual reporting
- Manage the portfolio, financing, bank statement, and general ledger account reconciliations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- CPA a plus
- 3-5 years of financial reporting experience or public accounting experience reviewing SEC filings
- Previous experience with residential mortgage assets or fixed-income preferred
- Familiarity of computerized accounting general ledger systems and financial reporting writing packages
- Experience with Dynamics 365 a plus
Salary Range:
$115,000-$160,000
