About the Company: 

Our client is a real estate investment trust with a focus on investing in residential mortgage-backed securities and residential whole loans.



  • Manage equity accounting, stock compensation, and capital market transactions
  • Assist in the completion of internal and external financial reporting, 10-K/10-Q’s, investor presentations, and press releases
  • Assist with financial statement disclosure processes and SEC reporting requirements
  • Assist with monthly expense accruals, the accounts payable process, G&A budgeting processes, and budget vs. actual reporting
  • Manage the portfolio, financing, bank statement, and general ledger account reconciliations



  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
  • CPA a plus
  • 3-5 years of financial reporting experience or public accounting experience reviewing SEC filings
  • Previous experience with residential mortgage assets or fixed-income preferred
  • Familiarity of computerized accounting general ledger systems and financial reporting writing packages
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 a plus
