About the Company:
Our client is a global alternative investment firm employing a multi-manager model, allocating capital across a broad array of independent teams with diverse strategies. The Fixed Income Associate will act as the primary middle office lead supporting fixed income financing activity
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the funding desk P&L attribution including daily analysis and leadership of monthly & quarterly desk review processes
- Lead projects and strategic initiatives related to fixed income financing
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive reporting suite for securities financing activities including funding activity, balances, allocations, financing costs, haircuts, exceptions, and key management metrics
- Monitor external repo collateral margins, assess changes and trends, and escalate issues with potential P&L, liquidity, or control implications
- Support onboarding of new PMs, ensuring financing processes, reporting, and allocation methodologies are established appropriately
- Oversee repo funding cost allocation
- Strengthen the governance and control framework across financing support processes including exception management, documentation, escalation, and process improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance preferred
- 5-7 years of fixed income experience across middle office and/or product control required
- Experience at a hedge fund, asset manager, bank, or broker-dealer
- Strong background in P&L analysis, attribution, reporting, and control oversight
- Knowledge of repo structures, including overnight, term, tri-party, and sponsored repo
- Experience with SQL, Python, or reporting/visualization tools preferred
Salary Range:
$150,000-$200,000
