About the Company:
Our client is a top public accounting firm in NYC looking to hire a Forensic Accountant. This role will be part of the forensic and litigation team and will perform detailed research and analysis; supervise staff; write memoranda; assist with writing reports; and interact with internal management, counsel, and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform accounting, damages, tax, auditing, and other research and prepare and summarize findings
- Identify key documents which relate to relevant concepts and issues
- Develop and support assumptions for analyses performed in connection with engagements
- Summarize and upwardly communicate findings to the forensic team and to counsel
- Assist in the preparation and drafting of consulting and expert reports and related exhibits
- Critique opposing party reports and claims
- Manage client relationships throughout the project
- Research industry trends and statistics
Requirements:
- 7 years + of experience in a litigation support group or in a public accounting firm
- CPA Required
- Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and QuickBooks
- A CFE and/or CFF designation are a plus
Salary Range:
$120,000-$135,000
