About the Company:
Our client is a global hedge fund utilizing a multi-manager approach to investing in liquid strategies. The Fund Accountant will provide daily oversight of performance returns for the portfolio managers.
Responsibilities:
- Produce daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports
- Perform daily P+L reconciliations between the fund administrator and internal systems
- Monitor cash balances, margin requirements, repo, OTC collateral balances, and FX exposures
- Address portfolio manager queries related to performance, trade implementation, exposures, and valuation
- Monitor and maintain appropriate financial controls, policies, procedures, and systems to support existing operations and continued growth
- Assist in the implementation of new portfolio management systems and data warehouse
- Assist in onboarding new strategies and investment products
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong hedge fund or trading desk knowledge with an understanding of various investment products
- Experience with shadow general ledger
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including strong Excel skills
Salary Range:
$180,000-$200,000
