About the Company:
Our client is a global alternative asset manager with $125 billion in AUM with investment strategies in real assets and private equity. The firm operates in Asian markets, the US, Brazil, and Europe. The Fund Accounting Vice President will oversee and manage the internal fund accounting/operations team and day-to-day relationships with third-party fund administrators.
Responsibilities:
- Review capital calls, distributions, and uncalled commitments, including allocations and investor notices
- Oversee and manage the funds’ quarterly and annual financial statement process
- Review management fee calculations including fee offsets, waivers, and rebates
- Prepare and review carried interest calculations and maintain waterfall models
- Review partner allocations and capital account statements
- Review and support investor reporting including quarterly letters and investor requests
- Calculate and review fund-level key performance metrics
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
- CPA preferred
- 6-12 years of accounting experience in both public and private sectors
- PE/RE industry experience preferred
- Experience with Yardi
- Strong technical accounting and reporting skills
Salary Range:
$160,000-$200,000
