Fund Accountant

About the Company:
Our client is a global alternative asset manager with over $750 billion in AUM with a focus on renewable power, infrastructure, private equity, and real estate. The Fund Accountant will be involved in both the day-to-day fund accounting and fund operations for the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
- Compile, analyze, and prepare funds’ financial data and operating metrics
- Quarterly closing of the books
- Review expenses, accounts payable, and payments for processing
- Coordinate with banks for foreign currency exchange and derivative transactions
- Calculate management fee and carried interest in accordance with funds legal documents
- Prepare investor reports, capital call and distribution notices
- Assist with providing financial information needed for compliance and regulatory filings
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1-3 years of related accounting experience
- CPA preferred
- Fund administration, accounting, or audit experience preferred
- Experience in private fund real estate or real estate credit a plus
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Salary Range:
$90,000-$110,000
