About the Company:
Our client is a private investment firm with over $100 billion in AUM with a focus on global real estate. The position will join the firm’s growing fund accounting and reporting team.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate month end close process and review monthly NAV
- Oversee external administrator
- Oversee the audit process and liaise with auditors
- Review annual financial statements and interpret relevant accounting guidance
- Evaluate and perform various internal control functions
- Preparing/reviewing the following types of reporting:
- Management reporting
- Investor reporting and presentations
- Regulatory reporting and filings
- Performance and risk reporting
- Portfolio analytics
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 4 – 6 years of combined experience in public accounting as well as experience at a hedge fund
- Experience in controls, audits, or working with administrators/service providers, a plus
- Must possess an understanding of various performance metrics and risk metrics
