Fund Accountant

About the Company: 

Our client is an international alternative investment firm with over $10 billion in AUM. The firm uses derivative-based strategies for its investors who are pension funds, university endowments, foundations, and insurance companies.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Review of month-end close packages including investor allocations and statements
  • Prepare internal shadow allocations, management fee calculations, and expense accruals
  • Assist with reviewing the daily P&L and reporting of internal daily NAVs
  • Review of quarterly regulatory filings and audited financials
  • Support the IR team with ad hoc and monthly investor requests
  • Assist with fund tax estimates and review funds K-1

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • 3-5 years of experience in both public and private accounting
  • Experience working on financial statements
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • CPA a plus

 

Salary Range: 

$85,000-$125,000
