About the Company:
Our client is a global investment firm with over $370 billion in AUM with an emphasis on supporting funds managed by women. This role will be responsible for fund accounting, management company, valuations, IR, Tax and special projects.
Responsibilities:
- Integral member of accounting team, sharing responsibility for all aspects of an accurate and efficient internal and external hedge fund finance and accounting function
- Involvement with management company accounting, including assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and monthly close
- Involvement in month end close process, including valuation and pricing of the to establish the month end NAVs
- Recalculate and verify management and incentive fees
- Review all expense allocations across the funds
- Review month-end NAV and resolving issues with administrator on various trading related matters
- Participate in special projects pertaining to risk, compliance, technology and reporting
- Assist in reviewing K1s
- Produce monthly investor reporting and responding to various investor queries and reporting requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- 3 -6 years of public accounting experience in the financial services industry
- Strong attention to details while maintaining overview of ongoing project work
- Strong Excel skills – VBA and SQL a plus
- CPA required
Salary Range:
$95,000 – $125,000
