About the Company:
Our client is a private equity firm with $3 Billion AUM investing in non-performing loans is looking to hire a Fund Accountant. This role will work directly with the Controller in New York.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing the NAV of the Funds prepared by the fund administrator
- Prepare and analyze Fund financial data and operating metrics
- Responsible for investor reporting, including capital account management, capital call and distribution calculations and tracking
- Responsible for calculations of management fees and carried interest
- Interact with the external audit and tax reporting processes with big 4 firms
- Responsible for the completion of investor requests, including due diligence information requests during fundraising
- Assisting with the Funds’ loan accounting expense review processes and preparing of Fund expenses and vendor payments
- Assist with compliance and regulatory filings
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years of fund accounting experience, audit, or fund administration
- CPAs preferred, not required
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Salary Range:
$90,000-$100,000
