Fund Accounting Manager

About the Company:
Our client is a global alternative asset manager with $125 billion in AUM with investment strategies in real assets and private equity. The firm operates in Asian markets, the US, Brazil, and Europe. The Fund Accounting Manager will be responsible for preparing, analyzing, and reporting on asset and fund level accounting results for the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Manage fund-level financial reporting, including management and internal reporting, investor financial statements, and other third-party reporting
- Oversee the accounting for acquisitions, dispositions, and other transactions to ensure proper accounting in accordance with US GAAP
- Prepare property and fund cash flow/liquidity assessments to assist in planning for capital needs
- Oversee the preparation of quarterly unaudited and annual audited financial statements
- Assist in various administrative and operational matters pertaining to fund subsidiaries including review of quarterly REIT compliance testing and other fund-related tax requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
- CPA preferred
- 6-8 years of accounting experience in both public accounting and at a private real estate firm
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
Salary Range:
$120,000-$160,000
