Fund Administration Director

About the Company:

Our client is a global investment manager specializing in liquid real assets within real estate, infrastructure, and natural resource equities. The Fund Administrator Director will assist in overseeing all aspects of the fund administration, regulatory reporting, financial reporting, and oversight of third-party service providers and will lead oversight of collective investment trusts.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for daily oversight procedures including reconciliations of internal portfolio accounting system with third-party service providers
  • Recommend and implement new policies and procedures, enhancements of internal controls, improvements of workflow approaches/methods and systems enhancements
  • Assist in the development and training for all levels of fund administration staff
  • Monitor third party relationships including conducting onsite due diligence reviews; establish minimum service levels and reporting requirements
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of various business initiatives
  • Support investment management team by managing and reviewing cash projections prepared by the team
  • Review and approve all financial and regulatory reporting
  • Review and approve expense budgets, management/administration and 12b-1/shareholder servicing fee payments

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or finance
  • CPA preferred
  • 8-10 years of experience in a fund accounting/administration role
  • Strong understanding of collective investment trusts preferred
  • Solid understanding of various investments and derivative products including valuation
  • Proficiency with advanced functions of Microsoft Excel, Bloomberg, and SimCorp, a plus

 

Salary Range:

$150,000-$250,000
