Fund Reporting Associate

About the Company:

Our client is a global asset management firm that invests in multiple asset classes and strategies worldwide to pursue innovation in its investing style and products as the global markets evolve. This role will be part of the finance team which provides a broad range of timely, accurate, relevant, and objective financial information, advice, and services to its business partners while adhering to the highest professional and ethical standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review interim and year-end financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • Collaborate across business groups with the Firm and liaise with third-party fund administrators and external auditors
  • Liaise with legal and compliance on regulatory reporting of the funds
  • Prepare monthly risk reports in partnership with our Risk team and a third-party vendor
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects associated with new fund launches and fund restructurings
  • Think dynamically, collaboratively, and strategically to help the team manage risk, enhance processes, and solve problems
  • Gain exposure to senior members of the management team and investors

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting with a CPA or equivalent professional certification
  • 4-6 years of work experience at a public accounting firm or public/private mix
  • Experience in audit/accounting within the financial services sector
  • Strong data analysis skills/experience
  • Adherence to the highest ethical standards, working closely with the firm’s compliance team

 

Salary Range:

$130,000 – $150,000
