About the Company:

Our client, a prestigious global asset manager is seeking a Fund Reporting professional to work out of their NYC office.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all aspects of the accounting requirements for the hedge funds managed by the firm
  • Prepare/review interim and year-end financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • Collaborate across business groups with the firm and liaise with third-party fund administrator and external auditor
  • Liaise with legal and compliance on regulatory reporting of the funds; SEC regulatory filings, NFA filings, and certain reporting requirements in other countries
  • Collaborate with Risk and a third-party vendor to prepare/review the monthly risk reports
  • Be involved with new fund launches and fund restructurings
  • Ad-hoc projects requested by senior management
  • Think dynamically, collaboratively, and strategically to help the team manage risk, enhance processes and solve problems
  • Opportunity for exposure to senior members of the management team and investors

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting
  • CPA strongly preferred
  • 3-6 years of work experience at a public accounting firm or public/private mix
  • Experience in audit/accounting within the financial services sector is required
  • Strong data analysis skills/experience
  • Top performer who is highly proactive, well-organized, and able to work independently as well as within the team
  • Experience with Geneva is a plus

Salary Range:

$90,000 to 130,000
