HR Business Partner

About the Company:

Our client is a global law firm providing a variety of legal services and is expanding their HR team. The HR Business Partner will advise on hiring decisions, succession planning, talent development, and more.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands‐on HR support to business services leaders and employees
  • Conduct regular touch base meetings with all managers within specific business lines to provide HR strategic workforce updates and to review talent, engage in succession planning, and provide coaching recommendations to optimize business performance
  • Work with managers during the promotion process to assess employee readiness for promotion and complete promotion applications
  • Act as a liaison between benefits, employees, and managers regarding sensitive medical issues and other leaves of absence
  • Assess skill gaps within specific business lines and working with Talent Development to recommend training and coaching to address needs
  • Coaching managers on providing constructive feedback, both during the year‐end evaluation process and throughout the year

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience
  • Responsive, proactive; demonstrates high level of personal accountability
  • Ability to maintain professional composure in high‐pressure situations and a fast‐paced, multiauthority environment

 

Salary Range: 

$130,000-$160,000
