Responsibilities: 

  • Act as first point of contact for property management teams on HR issues
  • Mediate and resolve employee relations issues, conduct investigations and recommend resolutions
  • Navigate sensitive and confidential issues and leverage legal resources to minimize risk
  • Prepare necessary paperwork in compliance with the union progressive discipline policies
  • Guide managers through performance management and preparation of performance improvement plans
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation
  • Analyze data and trends and partner with broader HR team to make recommendations
  • Support annual review process and succession planning

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3-5 years of related HR experience
  • Union knowledge is a plus
  • Familiarity with state-specific laws on payroll, leave, wages, and hours
  • Experience successfully navigating through complex and challenging situations

 

Salary Range: 

$95,000 – $105,000
