Responsibilities:
- Act as first point of contact for property management teams on HR issues
- Mediate and resolve employee relations issues, conduct investigations and recommend resolutions
- Navigate sensitive and confidential issues and leverage legal resources to minimize risk
- Prepare necessary paperwork in compliance with the union progressive discipline policies
- Guide managers through performance management and preparation of performance improvement plans
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation
- Analyze data and trends and partner with broader HR team to make recommendations
- Support annual review process and succession planning
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3-5 years of related HR experience
- Union knowledge is a plus
- Familiarity with state-specific laws on payroll, leave, wages, and hours
- Experience successfully navigating through complex and challenging situations
Salary Range:
$95,000 – $105,000
