Junior Desktop Support Specialist

About the Company:

Our client is a global real estate company looking to hire a Junior Desktop Support Specialist to sit at their NYC HQ to provide level 1 support for various NYC teams. This position comes with lots of opportunity for growth and career advancement.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide deskside and remote support to specific NYC teams (approx. 200+ users)
  • Troubleshoot all level 1 escalations through ServiceNow ticketing system in a primarily Windows environment
  • Responsible for installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices
  • Maintenance of network component inventory, printers, and other hardware items

 

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in an IT support role (Level 1 – 2)
  • Experience supporting Windows environments, MS office suite, Office 365, Active Directory, and mobile support (iOS and Android)
  • Strong communication skills, ability to provide white glove deskside support

 

Pluses:

  • Experience working with ServiceNow ticketing system
  • Experience supporting MAC users

 

Salary Range: 

$60,000-$70,000
