About the Company:

Our client is a private firm that invests in various industries from technology to communications and is hiring a Manager of Corporate Accounting and Consolidations. This role will be responsible for accounting and financial reporting, oversight for the balance sheet and P&L, and supporting the Consolidation and Reporting process.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review the monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports
  • Complete month-end and year-end closing activities for corporate entities
  • Review inter-company balances at the consolidated level and resolve any differences
  • Assist in the preparation and review of GAAP Financial Statements
  • Liaise with FP&A to ensure accurate recording of operating expenses
  • Provide support for external auditor requests and internal tax requests
  • Maintain and update management reports in order to capture business and reporting changes
  • Actively participate in the GL and Consolidation tool data governance process, preparing supporting documentation for changes related to financial master data elements

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting
  • 8+ years of experience in a Corporate Accounting and Reporting roles
  • Proficient win Microsoft Office products
  • GL and Reporting tools knowledge strongly preferred
