Our client is a private investment firm combining capital, strategic insight, and engineering capabilities to build and scale complex businesses. They manage diverse asset strategies and collaborate closely with portfolio companies on operational, simulation, and engineering infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, design, and integrate next-generation networking technologies to support HPC platforms
- Utilize future network architectures and technologies that will increase key HPC metrics
- Develop and maintain strong technical partnerships with leading vendors in networks to incorporate future roadmaps in the firm’s HPC platform and architectures
- Recommend and justify hardware and software solutions aligned with performance, efficiency, and scalability objectives
- Evaluate the incoming hardware and software sufficient to verify the systems in the firm’s environment and lab setups
- Aid in bottleneck identification and performance evaluation as it pertains to networks
- Contribute technical guidance and support to other internal teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5-8 years of network architecture experience
- Experience with high-speed fabric solutions including InfiniBand and NVLink
- Expertise in various forms of packet switching, routing algorithms, flow control, and congestion management
- Understanding of storage distributed and parallel file systems such as VAST and Lustre
- Experience designing HPC clusters and parallel computing environments
- Experience working with emerging Network trends like CXL, PCIe Gen 6, DPU a plus

$200,000-$300,000
