About the Company:
Our client is a private equity investment manager specializing in secondary market transactions providing liquidity solutions and strategic access to seasoned private equity assets. The firm also invests in select primary and co-investment opportunities to enhance portfolio diversification.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the accurate and timely processing of capital calls paid to and distributions received from the firm’s fund
- Coordinate with the firm’s sub-administrator, custodian, and other critical service providers and vendors to ensure the timely and accurate payment of expenses including the maintenance of weekly expense packages
- Review daily reconciliation of the custodial and brokerage accounts
- Assist in the preparation and review of SEC filings
- Perform scheduled and ad hoc internal reporting including portfolio performance reporting
- Assist with the review and processing of investor subscription and tender offer activity, investor statements, purchase confirmations, and account maintenance confirmations
- Assist with updating marketing collateral and adhering to compliance of such collateral
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in public accounting and/or fund operations experience at a private equity firm or hedge fund
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP for investment companies
- Experience with SEC reporting requirements for the 1940 Act registered investment companies preferred
- Strong Excel skills required
Salary Range:
$95,000-$105,000
