About the Company:

Our Client is a global alternative asset management firm with over $12 billion in assets under management, offering a broad range of investment products to select institutional investors. This company is seeking an individual to join the product control team supporting the Corporate Credit and Leveraged Loan trading business. The proactive candidate should be able to problem solve independently and demonstrate a good working relationship with various business


  • Provide support responsibilities including leveraged loan instrument set up, cash and position reconciliation, loan settlement of par and distressed trades, static data maintenance and management of life cycle events (pay downs, draw downs, rollovers, splits and restructures)
  • Work directly with trading, legal and risk groups to accurately reflect loan positions, ensure timely settlement and build out loan support infrastructure
  • Converse daily with external counterparties regarding status of pending trades which will include agent banks, borrowers and lenders
  • Provide supplemental middle office support of other businesses lines requiring knowledge with fixed income, equity and derivative asset classes
  • Follow process control standards on all tasks and duties ensuring periodic functions are performed in accordance with timelines and checklists
  • Assist in reviewing process efficiencies and be willing to adapt to changing environment while offering ideas for improvements based on previous experience or understanding of current market


  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree with 3-5 years of operations experience in the finance industry
  • Motivated self-starter with an ownership mentality and an ability to be a team player
  • Well organized and able to multi-task which includes meeting monthly deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Confident, clear communicator who can effectively work with internal and external counterparts in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in Syndicated Leveraged Loans and Collateralized Loan Obligations preferred
  • ClearPar, VTS/TSI, Markit
  • Experience with Bloomberg is desirable
  • Extremely detail-oriented and thorough
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word
