About the Company:
Our client is an investment adviser with over $20 billion in AUM focused on investing in global credit and special situations. The firm has over 250 employees and has been consistently ranked a top 10 firm in the country. The Operations Specialist will be responsible for supporting lending and distressed funds.
Responsibilities:
- Manage reporting requirements across multiple CLO’s including review of daily P&L and control diagnostics
- Work with the CLO provider and Trustee to help maintain/review daily cash, position, and accrual reconciliations associated with the portfolio
- Review bank debt trade settlement packages including assignment agreements and funding memos
- Work directly with front office on new issue transactions as well as ad hoc requests relating to P&L, exposure, and trade activity inquiries regarding the portfolio
- Partner with tax accounting, reporting, and treasury/financing teams on daily support requirements
- Maintain fund transactions and inventory in a vendor supported portfolio accounting system
- Participate in a broad range of operational projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- CFA a plus
- Experience in financial services with a focus on bank debt
- Strong knowledge of common financial products such as equities, bonds and derivatives
- Comfortable communicating directly with internal partners, front office personnel and senior management
- Proficiency in Excel
Salary Range:
$80,000-$110,000
