Payroll Accountant

New York, New York • $120,000-$125,000

About the Company: 

Our client is an established family office headquartered in NYC. The Payroll Accountant will be responsible for multistate payroll and HR functions.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Process all payrolls on a weekly basis
  • Review all timesheets and calculate payroll to include overtime
  • Prepare 1099’s for multiple employers and entities
  • Managing 401K’s including calculating and making contributions and processing loan repayments
  • Review employment contracts
  • Onboard new employees
  • Benefits management including family medical leave
  • Prepare NDA’s and assist with the offboarding process

 

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 6-8 years of payroll experience
  • General accounting experience a plus
  • Family office and household payroll experience a plus
  • Experience with Paychex a plus
  • Knowledge of Quicken accounting software

 

Salary Range: 

$120,000-$125,000
