Private Equity Accounting Manager

About the Company:
Our client is a leading global investment firm with $40 billion assets under AUM. They are seeking an Accounting Manager to join their Finance Team in Miami, Florida.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the accounting and quarterly financial reporting to investors
- Plan and coordinate the year-end audit for assigned funds
- Participate in monitoring of the investment portfolio and tracking of the related performance metrics
- Oversee fund cash flow requirements, including coordination of capital calls and distributions
- Manage bank and lender relationships, including credit facility oversight and compliance
- Ensure that all transactions are in compliance with the Fund’s Partnership Agreement
- Work with the Information Technology Team to build or improve system reports and functionality and validate such enhancements
- Research and propose potential solutions to improve the process and reporting efficiency, as well as assist with the validation of any enhancements to system reports and/or implemented functionality
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in accounting; MBA/MS in Finance, a plus
- 8+ years of combined experience in a national or global public accounting firm and industry
- CPA required
- Relevant audit or actual work experience in the private equity/partnership accounting and financial reporting areas is preferred
- Strong financial reporting experience
- Ability to interpret and apply analysis to complex legal documents and financial transactions
Salary Range:
$110,000 – $125,000
