Production Support Engineer

About the company:
One of our largest clients is an asset management firm with over $138 billion in AUM and operate across multiple offices globally. They are looking to hire a junior Production Support Engineer to join the team responsible for all production and automated processes. This person should be eager and hungry to learn as this role will come with lots of training on the ins and outs of how their internal processes work.
Responsibilities:
- Learn how to administer Control-M scheduling software for end users throughout the firm
- Learn how to test and install new models into the production process
- Learn how to debug real time production issues across a range of technologies and applications
- Work with developers to coordinate schedule changes and code changes
- Case-based projects around maintenance of production, improvements of the process, and other business needs
- Willingness and ability to perform on-call responsibilities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or anything relevant
- 2-4 years’ experience in technical role
- Strong technical/computer knowledge, able to understand infrastructure and communicate with technical teams
- Highly motivated individual and ability to work independently
- Good communication, eager to learn and get their foot in the door with a reputable firm that offers lots of growth opportunity
Pluses:
- Experience working with SQL
- Experience working with scheduling applications like Control-M
- Experience working in a Linux or Unix environment
Salary Range:
$80,000 – $120,000
