SEC Reporting Analyst

About the Company:
Our client, a diversified company primarily specializing in financial and real estate services is looking for an Analyst to join the SEC reporting and consolidations group.
Responsibilities:
- Aid in performing consolidation monthly/quarterly, including month-end and quarterly journal entries
- Reconcile/substantiate certain balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
- Analyze intercompany and coordinate with treasury for intercompany settlements
- Prepare certain financial measures and information necessary, as well as help produce and/or review presentations and documents for various financing transactions
- Review and substantiate financial data in the quarterly earnings releases and presentations
- Work with external auditors during quarterly reviews and the annual audit
- Preparation of certain footnotes and MD&A in 10-Qs and 10-Ks
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required
- 2-3 years of related experience in Big Four public accounting or financial services industry, preferably with exposure to SEC reporting
- Advanced analytical and Excel capabilities with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and work independently, as well as within a team environment
- CPA preferred
Salary Range:
$80,000 – $95,000
