SEC Reporting Analyst

About the Company:

Our client, a diversified company primarily specializing in financial and real estate services is looking for an analyst in the SEC Reporting and Consolidations group.


  • Aid in performing consolidation monthly / quarterly, including month end and quarterly journal entries (i.e. Tax, Distributions, Dividends, Intercompany, etc.)
  • Production of certain areas in the quarterly Financial Package (FACTBOOK), which includes various financial measures (GAAP and non-GAAP), and ad-hoc analysis for Senior Management
  • Reconcile / substantiate certain balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
  • Analyze intercompany and coordinate with treasury for intercompany settlements
  • Prepare certain financial measures and information necessary, as well as help produce and/or review presentations and documents for various financing transactions
  • Assist in implementation of Hyperion Financial Management (our consolidation tool) and preparation of reports
  • Review and substantiate financial data in the Quarterly Earnings Releases and presentations
  • Work with external auditors during quarterly reviews and the annual audit
  • Preparation of certain footnotes and MD&A in 10-Qs and 10-Ks


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
  • 2-3 years of related experience in Big Four public accounting or financial services industry, preferably with exposure to SEC reporting
  • Advanced analytical and Excel capabilities with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently, as well as within a team environment
  • CPA or CPA candidate preferred

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $80,000 – $95,000
  • 10 to 20% Bonus
