SEC Reporting Manager

About the Company:
Our client is a highly diversified global investment manager with over $40 billion in AUM investing in a range of credit, real estate, private equity, and permanent capital investment strategies. The SEC Reporting Manager will lead the preparation of financial statements, statutory reporting requirements, and MD&A and disclosures.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC reporting documents and disclosures
- Support capital raising and other transactions, including the preparation of pro formas and other financial disclosures
- Lead the preparation of statutory financial statements and the identification and accounting for any differences between US GAAP and IFRS or local GAAP
- Maintain compliance with SOX requirements
- Responsible for understanding future SEC reporting updates, including preparing updated disclosures and assisting in implementing new financial reporting processes as necessary
- Develop and document processes and procedures including leading improvements to processes when needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- CPA required
- 5-8 years of related experience
- Previous experience at a Big 4 firm a plus
- Comprehensive understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal control requirements
Salary Range:
$170,000-$200,000
