Senior Accountant

About the Company:

Our client is a private equity, real estate, and credit investment firm with over $27 billion in AUM. The firm invests in primary, secondary, and direct investment strategies. The Senior Accountant will be part of the firms corporate finance team and will be responsible for maintaining the firms general ledger and expense reporting.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare quarterly financial reporting package for the consolidated company and its corporate subsidiaries
  • Oversee the annual statutory audits for the firms corporate subsidiaries and will interact directly with third-party auditors
  • Independently manage expense reporting processes for company employees and out of pocket requests submitted via Concur
  • Oversee and supervise accounts payable accounting including the entire accounts payable cycle
  • Perform daily reconciliation of all bank accounts to the bank statement and reconciles to general ledger
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts including the preparation and recording of journal entries
  • Oversee the annual 1099-reporting process with our third-party service provider
  • Maintain monthly sales & use tax
  • Researches and analyzes expense variances

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 5-6 years of experience working in finance
  • Experience with online banking platforms and wire transfers
  • Experience with SAP Concur and Microsoft Dynamics a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills required

 

Salary Range: 

$95,000-$115,000
