About the Company:
Premier alternative asset management company with over $350 billion of assets under management, focusing on real estate, renewable power, infrastructure and private equity is seeking a Senior Accountant.
The Senior Accountant will work directly with the Senior Controller. The successful hire will be responsible for consolidated management & legal entity reporting requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries related to the consolidated adjustments ensuring they are complete and accurate
- Assist in the preparation of legal entity financial statements
- Play an integral role in onboarding and integration of new assets into the finance and accounting processes
- Consolidate, review and analyze information provided by the firm’s subsidiaries as well as internal management reporting on an IFRS and proportionate basis
- Prepare and present quarterly results presentation to senior management
- Track financials reporting submissions from regions and following up as necessary
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ accounting experience ideally Big 4
- Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS
- Qualified CA or CPA
- Experience managing multiple entities with complex structures
- Superior communication skills (oral and written) and interpersonal skills, including comfort interacting with Senior Executives and ability to develop relationships with operating companies
Compensation and Benefits:
- $90,000 – $125,000 plus bonus
