About the Company:

Our client is an alternative investment manager specializing in credit and opportunistic investments for private equity funds. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the day-to-day- accounting functions for the hedge fund unit of the firm.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform primary review of client deliverables related to the NAV process, including financial statements, valuation, and investor statements
  • Perform day-to-day accounting activities of the fund, including actively liaising with other areas of the firm
  • Perform calculations of complex management fees, incentive fees, and allocations across multiple relationships
  • Support the external audit process including financial statement review and ensuring audit requests are provided timely
  • Assist with maintaining compliance with relevant accounting and reporting provisions of the governing documents of the funds and investment management agreements
  • Assist with monitoring and maintaining appropriate financial controls
  • Additional responsibilities include cash management and expense processing

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
  • 3-4 years of accounting experience
  • At least 2 years of public accounting experience required
  • Knowledge of US GAAP
  • CPA preferred

 

Salary Range:

$85,000-$120,000
