Senior Accountant

About the Company:
Our client is a premier global real estate and lifestyle company with assets valued at over $60 billion. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the accounting associated with major operating entities and various division platform entities.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year end work papers and account reconciliations
- Review and analyze the general ledger and financial statements and prepare appropriate accrual and adjusting journal entries in accordance with GAAP
- Assist in the month end, quarter end, and year-end closing processes
- Preparation of the allocation of various expenses
- Prepare monthly capital calls for assigned development projects
- Identify and release weekly payments of outstanding payables
- Assist in the compilation of information for the overall year-end audit
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- 3-5 years of corporate accounting experience
- CPA a plus
- Background in public accounting preferred
- Knowledge of JD Edwards reporting software a plus
Salary Range:
$90,000-$110,000
