About the Company:
Our client is an investment firm specializing in stressed and distressed credit investments in the United States and Europe with over $3 billion in AUM. The Senior Accountant will assist the firm with all aspects of the finance, accounting, and operations functions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly estimates, fund and managed month-end close/net asset value calculations, accruals, and fee calculations
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation including compiling financial statements and footnotes, recalculating, and reviewing prepared tax documents
- Assist with the review of daily trade, position, cash, and P&L reconciliations
- Assist with P&L and portfolio reporting, cash analysis, and FX hedging
- Perform daily reconciliation of cash and positions
- Affirm trades, resolve breaks vs executing brokers, manage settlement, review swap resets, and review non-trading cash activity
- Assist with end of day trade processing and allocation
- Assist with collateral movements and capital calls with each prime broker and other cash movements
- Assist with ad-hoc portfolio data requests for internal and external reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- 4-6 years of related public/private accounting experience
- Experience with credit/fixed income and bank debt
- Advent Geneva experience preferred
- Strong proficiency in Excel required
Salary Range:
$135,000-$160,000
