Senior Accountant

About the Company:
Our client is an international container leasing company with $10 billion in assets and operating in over 16 different countries. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for various SEC filings and other external reporting requirements for the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the preparation and filing of all SEC reports, including forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements, and other documents
- Coordinate information requests and prepare supporting documentation and analysis for financial statements, corresponding footnotes, MD&A, and other periodic filings
- Evaluation of significant transactions, including research and drafting technical accounting memorandum
- Prepare monthly cash flow statements and presentations
- Review various monthly account analyses, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Provide support for internal and external audits and ensure all transactions are in compliance with SOX internal controls
Responsibilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 3-5 years of experience in Big 4 accounting
- Strong understanding of Regulation S-X and S-K requirements
- An understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
Salary Range:
$115,000-$120,000
