About the Company:
Our client is a global hedge fund using fundamental research, predictive analytics, and leading-edge technology to identify and capture new opportunities for its investors. The Senior Associate will take part in relationship management, fund and shadow book accounting, and special implementation projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with inter-functional working group in creating processes for data transmission to and from the shadow administrator
- Provide oversight of shadow firm and escalation of service issues throughout implementation and subsequent BAU period
- Identify and execute on efficiency and process improvement opportunities and communicate improvements to management and other internal teams, addressing risks as raised by the support team
- Provide guidance, expertise, and assistance to fund accountants when needed
- Coordinate with external auditors on financial and control audits
- Support new business initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- CPA required
- 5-8 years of experience in hedge funds and/or investment management
- Big Four experience a plus
- Experience using Geneva a plus
Salary Range:
$120,000-$170,000
