About the Company:
Our client is a private equity group with over $100 billion in AUM. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for financial reporting, performance measurement, valuations, capital calls/distributions, financial risk management, treasury, and investor relations.
Responsibilities:
- Review and assist in preparation of private fund and LP reporting, including standalone legal entity trial balances, consolidated fund financial statements under US GAAP, investors capital statements, and related other items on a quarterly and annual basis
- Actively participate and lead the resolution of complex technical accounting issues, including coordination with auditors, fund administrators and operating platforms
- Quarterly risk reporting including monitoring and reporting on liquidity and foreign currency exposures
- Support execution of ongoing transactions including review of funds flows, and preparation of requisite transaction documentation in partnership with the groups legal and tax teams
- Interact with the portfolio company management and/or investment professionals to collect and validate monthly and quarterly financial and operational results; analyze for reasonableness and report on unusual fluctuations
- Assist in resolving investor requests related to fund financial items and reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting or audit function
- Experience within the Big 4
- Knowledge of US GAAP investment company accounting
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Salary Range:
$120,000-$150,000
