Senior Fund Accountant

About the Company: 

Our client is an alternative investment firm with over $12 billion in AUM. The firm invests in three various asset classes for its institutional investors. The Senior Fund Accountant will be responsible for the quarterly fund close process, capital activity, investor requests, and performance calculations.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Review of LP allocations, capital calls, distributions, quarterly financial statements, partner capital statements, and IRR calculations
  • Manage the books and records within the internal accounting system
  • Oversee the financial reporting for various complex investment structures
  • Assist with the annual audit requests and annual audited financial statements for assigned funds
  • Assist with the quarter-end valuation process
  • Manage preparation of recurring and ad hoc internal and external performance and investor reporting

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2-4 years of related accounting experience
  • Experience working at a fund admin a plus
  • Credit experience a plus
  • CPA a plus

 

Salary Range: 

$90,000-$130,000
