About the Company:
Our client is a global hedge fund using fundamental research, predictive analytics, and leading-edge technology to identify and capture new opportunities for its investors.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the primary and shadow administrator
- Account for investor capital activity and profit and loss allocation
- Managing daily, monthly, and annual fund closes
- Provide guidance, expertise, and assistance to fund administrators when needed
- Coordinate with external auditors on financial and control audits
- Assist in reporting requirements including regulator exams
- Support new business initiatives
- Streamline production and enhance policies and procedures across departments where needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- CPA required
- 8-10 years of fund accounting experience
- Experience in hedge funds, investment management, and/or financial services
- Big4 public accounting experience a plus
- Strong Excel skills including the ability to create and utilize v-lookups, pivot tables, and other complex formulas
Salary Range:
$120,000-$230,000
