Senior Tax Accountant

About the Company:
Our client is a publicly traded international freight container leasing company with over $2 billion in revenue. The Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for preparing all work papers for partnerships and consolidated corporate and foreign corporation returns.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file federal and state income tax estimated payments on a quarterly basis
- Maintain GAAP, tax, and book capital accounts for the firm
- Prepare the monthly, quarterly, and annual tax provisions for the firms joint venture
- Research tax positions and prepare technical tax and accounting memos to support tax and accounting positions for transactions
- Provide support for internal and external audits
- Review and reconcile federal and E&P tax depreciation reports
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance
- 3 years of experience in public accounting or corporate accounting roles
- Experience writing tax memos
- Strong core understanding of GAAP accounting
- Experience with federal and state tax compliance
Salary Range:
$90,000-$115,000
