Senior Tax Analyst

About the Company: 

Our client is a global alternative asset management firm with $35 billion in AUM with investment strategies including fundamental equities, corporate and structured credit, real estate debt and equity, merger arbitrage, and private investments.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with tax reporting for tax returns, K-1s, U.S. and non-U.S. tax reporting for complex real estate fund structures and non-traded REIT
  • Review of tax allocations, partnership K-1s, federal and state fund level tax returns, property level returns, quarterly estimates, and various other domestic and foreign tax related filings
  • Respond to various federal, state, and local taxing authority notices/requests
  • Perform tax research as needed
  • Prepare ASC 740 memos
  • Federal and state withholding analysis for domestic and foreign investors
  • Prepare quarterly & annual REIT tests

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 4-8 years of related experience with a background in public accounting
  • CPA preferred
  • Experience in partnership taxation, real estate joint ventures, and REITs

 

Salary Range:

$115,000-$125,000
